Three people were used in this beta test. These were three new students that were not used in the alpha test.

Think Aloud Task

Take some time to look through the site. What is the site about? Who do you think is the intended audience? Where would you find information about his daughter? Where would you find the names of his wives? If I was to say there is a section where he skydives, where would you find it? What suggestions do you have? What information stood out to you? How did you like the layout? Was the information easily accessible to you?

Summary of Think Aloud

All three people were able to successfully find where information on Clifford’s daughter, wives and his skydiving adventure. They all were able to explain that the site is based off of the autobiography of Clifford Boehmer. Two believed the intended audience was his family, and the other stated they believe the intended audience was anyone who wanted information on Clifford.

Suggestions they had were focused on the design of the webpage. They wanted other colors than green and wanted the font color to be changed to black. They really enjoyed the amount of photos available and the pdf versions of some of the sections of the book.

Findings to be Implemented

The following changes will be implemented:

The font will be changed to black instead of the greenish color that it is now. The heading font colors will also be changed.

I will try and change the color of the background from green, hopefully to a grey or blue.
